Born at the University of Bremen, developed on the high seas

Flucto was founded in 2020 by Aljoscha Sander while researching the physics of wind turbines at the University of Bremen, Germany.

To measure the relative motions between turbine components, Aljoscha developed and built the precursor of today's flucto Motion Sensor Boxes and deployed them during the installation of the Offshore Wind Farm Trianel II 2019. The data has been published and resulted in numerous publications.

Since then, Flucto's team and capabilities have grown to service multiple installation campaigns.
