Carolina is the CEO and driving force of Flucto. As head of administration and finances, she combines her expertise in quality improvement and management to support the growth of the team and business.
Prior to joining Flucto, Carolina served as Technical Manager for the ESA Business Incubation Centre (ESA BIC) Northern Germany at AVIASPACE Bremen e.V. where she supported space startups in the incubator to reach their goals while overseeing administrative and compliance processes.
Carolina's professional background spans the European space and technology sectors. She has held positions at the Universidad industrial de Santander, managing the exchange and cooperation contracts in the international office, University of Bremen as a Research Assistant at the Virtual Academy of Sustainability, HE Space Operations, where she progressed from intern to Contracts Officer managing recruitment, HR, and contract processes, and Airbus Defense and Space, where she focused on process improvement and quality management.
Originally from Colombia, Carolina earned a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Bremen after completing her Industrial Engineering degree at Universidad Industrial de Santander in Colombia. Her multidisciplinary training spans engineering, finance, marketing, and human resources, providing a strong foundation for prospering startups. She is passionate about helping Flucto and our customers grow through operational excellence, and a collaborative leadership style.
