Felix leads software development at flucto. He studied M.Sc. Biomimetics with a focus on computational fluid dynamics at the University of Applied Sciences in Bremen, where he first met and became friends with flucto's founder, Josh.
During his time as a researcher at the University of Groningen, Felix used an early version of the motion-sensor-box software stack and kept thinking "this could be better." He joined flucto to make it so.
Felix has a passion for refactoring, always eager to "make it work, make it beautiful, make it fast". When he's not writing or thinking about software, he oversees flucto's internal tooling and shapes best practices for development. The urge to improve tooling has led Felix to craft his own mechanical keyboard(s), which he will take everywhere and serves as a reminder that good tools make all the difference.
